DGTSL Mission Statement:

The Dickerson Green Theological Seminary Library is committed to supporting a community of faith and learning. Our mission is to provide access to theological resources, guide research, and partner with faculty and the Christian community to enhance student learning. Rooted in tradition and academic scholarship, DGTSL aims to equip and enhance student’s research skills, Biblical hermeneutics, theological resources, efficient and ethical use of information, and integration of faithful scholarship with a global perspective.

Vision Statement:

Allen University envisions the Dickerson Green Theological Seminary Library as a vibrant center for theological exploration and scholarly engagement. Our goal is to create an inclusive space that inspires curiosity, fosters understanding of theological traditions, and promotes academic excellence, ethical inquiry, and spiritual growth.

Purpose Statement:

The purpose of our library is to be a curated collection and instructional center that aligns with the seminary's mission. We aim to support student learning and formation by collaborating with faculty, providing resources, and fostering a holistic approach to theological education. Through these efforts, we contribute to the intellectual and spiritual development of our seminary community.
