Where to Take Pictures During the Scavenger Hunt

As you explore the library, make sure to capture selfies or photos at the following key locations:

• Library Entrance:

  • Take a selfie at the main entrance of the J.S. Flipper Library.

• Circulation Desk:

  • Capture a photo at the circulation desk where you can check out books and other materials.

• Special Collections Area:

  • Visit the special collections area and take a picture showcasing this unique section of the library.

• Study Lab:

  • Snap a photo inside of the study lab or study carrel areas.

• Computer Stations:

  • Capture an image at the computer stations where students can access digital resources.

• Library Stacks:

  • Take a selfie in front of the library stacks, surrounded by rows of books.

• Library Signage:

  • Find a directional sign or informational display within the library and take a picture with it.

• Trip Around the World:

  • Take a phot in front of the globe pointing to a location that you would like to visit or have visited before.

• Upstairs Resource Area:

  • Visit the upstairs resource area where sketch pads and supplies are available, and take a picture there.

• Quiet Study Area:

  • Capture a moment in one of the designated quiet study areas.

• New Arrivals or Display Section:

  • Take a photo in front of the new arrivals or any featured display section in the library.

• Library Bulletin Board:

  • Visit the bulletin board where events and announcements are posted, and snap a photo.

• Library Staff Member (Optional):

  • If a library staff member is available and willing, take a friendly photo with them as you get assistance.
